SILVR WELLNESS EDITORIAL COPIES
INTRODUCTION TO BRIEF
The brief for this project was to develop a series of editorial press advertisements promoting the newly launched Silvr Wellness Brain8 supplement - a product positioned as a scientifically supported solution for reducing brain fog and improving everyday cognitive clarity. The campaign was aimed primarily at readers aged 50 and above, a demographic most likely to experience symptoms of brain fog and therefore benefit from targeted wellness support. Alongside communicating the supplement’s purpose and credibility, the ads needed to highlight promotional bundle offers and unique discount codes, giving customers long‑lasting value through multi‑month supplies of vitamins. The challenge was to introduce Brain8 to the press in a way that felt trustworthy, informative and visually engaging, ensuring the messaging resonated with an older audience while clearly presenting the benefits and savings available.
BRIEFING THE PROBLEM
This project came with several important challenges that shaped the creative and strategic direction of the Silvr Wellness Brain8 campaign. The first was finding a way for Brain8 to stand out in an extremely saturated market; supplements, health products and wellness solutions are crowded categories, especially within press advertising aimed at older audiences. The designs needed to differentiate Brain8 without relying on exaggerated claims or gimmicks, instead presenting the supplement as a credible, science‑supported option for combating brain fog.
Another key challenge was striking the right tone for the 50+ demographic. The ads had to communicate the benefits clearly without becoming overly scientific or technical, as dense medical language risked losing reader interest. At the same time, oversimplifying the information could undermine trust. Achieving this balance required careful consideration of copy, hierarchy and visual emphasis.
Finally, the layouts needed to include all essential information (product benefits, bundle offers, discount codes, scientific context and brand messaging) without overwhelming the reader or cluttering the page. Ensuring clarity, accessibility and visual breathing room was central to solving this problem, guiding the editorial approach toward a clean, confident and persuasive set of press ads.
PROCESS AND TOOLS
I developed the Silvr Wellness editorial pages in Adobe InDesign, creating a series of layouts tailored to the needs and expectations of the 50+ audience while maintaining a clean, modern wellness aesthetic. Each creative was built around Silvr’s brand identity, using a cyan/teal colour scheme that mirrors both the product packaging and the scientific positioning of the Brain8 supplement. This palette helped reinforce trust, clarity and a sense of clinical credibility without feeling cold or overly medical, striking the balance required for a health‑focused product aimed at older readers.
Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with the Silvr client team and my creative director, refining copy that communicated the brand story and Brain8’s scientifically supported benefits in an accessible, reader‑friendly way. The goal was to present the science behind the supplement without overwhelming the audience with technical language, ensuring the messaging remained clear, digestible and engaging.
Visually, the layouts combined high‑quality imagery of the vitamins, scientific infographics that simplified key information, and model photography chosen to reflect the demographic and lifestyle of the target audience. These elements worked together to humanise the product, highlight its purpose and create a sense of reassurance. I explored multiple layout variations, typographic treatments and visual hierarchies to ensure each creative communicated benefits, bundle offers and discount codes effectively while maintaining a clean, uncluttered editorial feel.
This iterative process (balancing brand identity, scientific credibility and audience needs) shaped a cohesive set of press ads that introduced Brain8 with clarity, confidence and strong visual alignment to Silvr’s wellness ethos.
OUTCOME
The final editorial copies delivered a clear, persuasive introduction to Silvr Wellness’ Brain8 supplement, presenting both the product benefits and promotional offers in a way that resonated strongly with the 50+ audience. Each creative featured distinct discount codes tied to specific bundle packages, allowing customers to secure multi‑month supplies at reduced prices. These codes were intentionally placed throughout the layouts - embedded within the copy, highlighted in call‑out sections, printed as traditional coupons for older readers, and included as QR codes that linked directly to a landing page with the discount pre‑applied. This multi‑channel approach ensured accessibility for all reader preferences and enabled Silvr to track redemption rates accurately, providing valuable insight into the effectiveness of each advert from a direct response perspective.

Trust and credibility were further reinforced through a testimonial from Dr. Marc Weder, a pharmacist and co‑founder of Silvr, whose professional endorsement added scientific authority to the campaign. The inclusion of Silvr’s Excellent Trustpilot rating strengthened this trust signal, helping readers feel confident in both the product and the brand. Visually, the cyan/teal colour scheme aligned seamlessly with Silvr’s packaging and scientific positioning, supporting a cohesive brand experience across all creatives.
The campaign achieved its goal: the press ads noticeably increased orders and played a key role in successfully launching Brain8 to the market. The combination of clear messaging, accessible design, strong trust indicators and trackable discount mechanisms resulted in a set of editorial pages that were not only visually effective but commercially impactful.
All copies are regularly resized and updated with fresh discount codes when used in new bookings.
